Traumatology

Traumatology Services International is an education and training provider in the field of Traumatology. It provides tuition for Certificate and Diploma courses of the International Insitute of Traumatology and Crisis Intervention.

Studying Traumatology is really good to anyone who has a genuine desire to practice Traumatology. Beyond the basic requirement of competency in English and completion of High School education, or the equivalent, the student can decide to what level he/she wishes to study. In turn, this will determine at what level the student can function or practice in the field of Traumatology.

Your current educational level and content is assessed, as well as any relevant experience, which will determine at which point you will need to commence your studies. For most, it will be at the certificate or entry level whilst all are required to complete, or have relevant equivalent and acceptable qualifications, at Diploma level. Normal progression is Certificate, Diploma and Diploma in Advanced Traumatology.

Tuition is conducted on a distance education basis. Students are supported via student guides, study notes and lecturers who can be contacted via e-mail or telephone should the need arise. Distance education may be commenced at any time, through completion of systemised lecture models, attendance at practical workshops, self-study; successful completion of assignments; interim tests; a final written examination and prescribed practical training.

All course content is modularised, easy to understand and with a reasonable amount of effort, commitment and diligence, successful completion of the courses is within reach of most people. Students are afforded the opportunity of re-writing examinations in the event of this becoming necessary. Prospective students must demonstrate an acceptable level of competency in English.

Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learner (RPL) assessment. This RPL assessment may lead to the student receiving credit for previously completed studies.

Short course exemptions may be granted at the sole and exclusive discretion of IITCI and no guarantees, implied or implicit are given, neither will any reasons be provided for exemptions not granted. A non-refundable exemption fee is payable in respect of each exemption application.
